Idrja 125 check valves: hydraulic efficiency and large sizes

There is a new entry in the Idrja check valve series. It is the DN 125 version, therefore a control valve of considerable size, ideal for industrial applications and systems that handle large amounts of fluids.

The Idrja stainless steel valves are among the most representative of our manufacturing philosophy, which has its strengths in quality and hydraulic efficiency.

We have already shared how designing jointly with the customer has enabled us to conjugate the Idrja valve to various versions so as to meet the numerous installation and maintenance requirements but also to facilitate the construction of complex hydraulic systems.

In this case, however, it was an extension of the range thanks to the new 5″ valve, available in the flanged version.

By manufacturing this product, we have actually met a market need, considering that it is not easy to find stainless steel valves of this size.

The challenge was to bring the concept of maximum hydraulic efficiency into a large valve. Even at this level, we have managed to maintain the synergy of shapes, mechanical finishes, and hydraulic solutions, which allows us to reach the typical performance of the Idrja series.

The containment of head losses is such as to guarantee significant energy savings, which is a great advantage in the industrial sector where energy consumption is, today more than ever, an important cost item.

In addition to hydraulic efficiency, the Idrja DN 125 valve also has all the advantages of stainless steel in terms of durability, corrosion resistance, hygiene, and sustainability. Furthermore, all the materials used in the construction of the valve and its components are compatible with the use of drinking water.

Following the Idrja 125 valve, we are planning yet another expansion of the range up to the DN 200 model. Idrja 125 check valves are already being manufactured and will soon be included in the catalog.
