Tanks

Tanks

The tanks are separated by a membrane that accumulate a reserve of pressurised fluid in a hydraulic system and make it possible to adjust fluid supply or pressure. The tank exterior is made of AISI 304 steel and the membranes of EPDM or butyl. Tank capacities range from 0.16 to 500 litres, the maximum working pressure is 15 bar and the maximum temperature 100 °C according to the model.

Applications

Suitable for domestic environments, autoclave and heating systems, in industry for applications in corrosive environments. Used in autoclave systems to counter repeated motor pump starts and stops, to dampen water hammers and so protect the system from overpressure caused by closure, and to eliminate the variations in pressure caused by fluid expansion following an increase in temperature (expansion tank function).
